Refund Policy
The Institute has established a structured refund policy for students admitted to the B.Sc Nursing
and GNM courses. The policy is applicable under specific conditions and outlines the procedures and
amounts eligible for refund, as detailed below:
Eligibility for Withdrawal and Refund
A student may apply for withdrawal of admission and seek a refund only in the event of upgradation of her candidature through a competent Government authority and consequent admission to another recognized institution. The withdrawal application must be submitted in writing, in person, stating the reason clearly.
Date of Application
The date on which the written application is received by the Institute shall be treated as the effective date for the purpose of calculating any applicable refund.
Refund Components and Conditions
Admission Fee & Lamp Lighting Ceremony Fee: These fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
Hostel Fee (Initial Month): The hostel fee paid for the first month during admission is non-refundable.
Hostel Fee (Advance Payment): If hostel fees have been paid in advance for subsequent months and the student has not availed the facility, the unutilized amount shall be refunded at 80% of the pro-rata value.
Other Fees: All other refundable fees shall be returned on a pro-rata basis at 80% for the unutilized portion of the academic term.
Cut-off Date for Refund Application: No refund request shall be entertained for applications submitted after 31st March 2022.
Disciplinary Termination: Students whose admission is terminated by the Institute on disciplinary or any other grounds shall not be eligible for any refund.
Refund Calculation Example
If a student discontinues the course in the third month after admission, 80% of the fees paid for the remaining months (after deducting the fee for the first three months) will be considered for refund.
Eligibility for Withdrawal and Refund
Refunds shall be processed only through Cheque or NEFT in favour of the student or her parent/guardian. A cancelled cheque must be attached to the refund request to ensure accurate and timely processing.
